The “Divisional Literary Festival” organized by the Cultural Division of the Delthota Divisional Secretariat for the year 2019 was held on 26th September 2019 at the main hall of Karagaskada Central College, Delthota.

The Chief Guest of the event was veteran actor Kumara Thirimadura who delivered a great lecture on Literature to the students.

The cultural event presented by the school children was inspired by this event. Delivering gifts and certificates to the children who excelled in the literary competition organized by the Delthota Divisional Secretariat for the year 2019 and the winners in the open category.

The children's day celebration organized by the Deltota Divisional Secretariat was held at the Delthota Sri Rathanasrama Vihara main hall with the presence of the Divisional Secretary and other invitees.

The event presented a variety of skills and gifts for the children who participated in the event, as well as handing out prizes and certificates to the students who won first, second and third places in the quiz program.

There was a special event on the occasion where children were provided with school supplies.
